Subliminal Message In Porn? Michigan Man Suspects Terrorist Message In XXX Movie

We've all heard the rumors (and seen the "proof") of animators slipping subliminal pornographic images in Disney movies. But what about subliminal messages in porn itself?

In Mason, a small town near Lansing, Mich., police officers received a surprising call on Jan. 1 from a man who said he received subliminal messages from a pornographic movie he purchased in nearby Jackson.

The Lansing State Journal reprinted the titillating police report, which states:

The complainant replayed the portion of the DVD in slow motion for the officer, who did note four words he could read and a series of other words that passed so quickly they could not be read.

The complainant stated he reported the incident only because he had read where Al Qaeda was inserting messages into pornographic movies.

With so much left to the imagination, it's easy to let the mind run wild on what dangerous messages might be passed through the nation's pornography. Could al Qaeda really be involved? Osama bin Laden, after all, was found to have quite the stash of pornography at his Pakistani compound.

As of Jan. 6, the case is still under investigation, the Mason Police Department's Secretary to the Chief Jann Lifsey told HuffPost.

Perhaps Mason is a hotbed of pornographic subliminal messaging? Does this incident echo any recent crimes in the city?

"Not that I remember," Lifsey said.

To read the full report, see the Lansing State Journal.
